How many calls will you miss over Christmas?
Christmas is coming. The office tree is up, Secret Santa is out of the hat, and the team have already been given their early Christmas present – brand new desks for the office. Enjoy, team!
But most importantly, for our customers and therefore for us at PA Answer, it’s time to announce our opening times for the festive period.
Who is answering your calls over Christmas?
Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year for many companies, especially in terms of revenue. However also coincides with the period when your staff are least likely to be at their desks. During December 2018, over half (57%) of UK workers attended ten festive events with co-workers, and a third have already booked a day off after the office Christmas party.
It is all well and good to get into the festive spirit, we love Christmas here at PA Answer, but do you have a contingency in place to ensure you maximise enquiries throughout December? Click here to find out more about Holiday Cover from PA Answer
And that’s without thinking about potential working days lost to poor weather. 2018’s ‘Beast from the East’ cost the UK economy £1bn a day, and even had an impact on GDP at the start of 2019. The effects of extreme weather are often disastrous, but the severity of its impact is often localised, which could leave your clients, and maybe even your competitors open for business, while you are left battling the elements.
